New York, June 2010. Oscar de la Renta has once again made the fashion world say ‘Wow’ with his Resort 2011 garment collection. The garments, all in all, I can describe as feminine and elegant. He (de la Renta) seems to consider technology in his collection as few of his models modelled out clutching iPads tucked in luxe leather covers. This collection ranged from well-accessorized, embellished jackets, preppy, pieced denim or khaki, to feminine, printed dresses (best matched with some kind of ribboned top hats, as shown in the photos) and embroidered, abstractly beaded, corseted ball gowns.
